Chip Tsao 陶傑
Born in Hong Kong in 1958, Chip Tsao is a columnist, broadcaster, and writer. His career spans more than three decades, from London to Hong Kong, and from broadcasting to writing for radio, TV, magazines and newspapers.
He loves painting in a western sketch style but using Chinese ink and brush instead of a pen. His painting can therefore be said to be representative of the unique culture of Hong Kong, where cultures blend and merge in a most harmonious way. In his own words, Chip says that “painting and drawing are to me a respite of tranquility in a turbulent and noisy world.”
