Zhou Lianhua 周連華

Based in Suzhou, Zhou Lianhua (born 1967) is a contemporary Chinese artist who employs strong colours and shades as her visceral language to express intense emotions and create resonance with viewers.

Zhou’s unique talent and tireless pursuit of artistic refinement have earned her acclaim from critics and artists alike, and her works are highly sought after by collectors worldwide. Her works have been widely exhibited on the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Netherlands, Russia (Moscow) and beyond, and featured in various publications and in the press.

In 2012, she was recommended to take advanced studies in oil painting at the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University. She is currently a member of the Art Research Association at the university and also a member of the Chinese Female Artists Association.
