139 x 35 cm (Mounted as a scroll)

Huang’s work incorporates his understanding of history, harmony, beauty and all the values which he believes constitute good art. For instance, in his work “Blossom”, in addition to using his own style of running script to express his aesthetic of balancing each stroke in the character of ‘flower’, Huang also adds a unique element into the composition of this work by using a colourful ink splash technique to render the character ‘flower’ in such a way that it gives the composition a modern feel.
